The SBX pumps are positive displacement roots booster vaccum pumps. The root boosters are direct drive, energy efficient and are suitable for continuous operation. Roots pumps help in shifting the operation pressure to a high vaccum range. Roots vaccum pumps are capable of improving the attainable ultimate pressure of a pump system by a factor of 10.
